Morocco luxury tours: questions answered

For travel advisors

What kind of Morocco luxury tours do you offer?

Private, tailor-made luxury tours of Morocco from 3 to 14 days: imperial cities, the Sahara, the Atlas, the kasbah valleys and the coast, with palace riads, luxury desert camps and private chauffeur-guides. Every tour is designed for one client and can be adapted completely.

Do you work with travel advisors and host agencies?

Yes. We are a destination management company in Marrakech and work with advisors and host agencies worldwide. Our trade terms are shared privately with each agency.

How do we become partners?

Send us a client brief or write to info@luxoriamorocco.com. We send our partner agreement and trade terms by email.

Do you contact my clients directly?

Only for travel logistics once they are in Morocco. We never market to your clients, and you remain their main point of contact.

Can you handle a single service, such as a transfer or a day tour?

Yes. We plan complete journeys or single components: a private transfer, a guided day in Fes, a balloon flight or a night in a desert camp.

Do you host fam trips?

Yes. Fam trips and site inspections are arranged through your agency’s head office. Ask us for dates.

About travelling in Morocco

What is included in a Morocco luxury tour?

Our Morocco luxury tours include hand-picked riads, hotels and desert camps, a private chauffeur-guide in a premium vehicle, private local guides in the medinas, airport welcome and transfers, and a travel designer reachable throughout. Every quote lists exactly what is included.

Are your Morocco luxury tours private?

Yes. Every tour is private and tailor-made: your own chauffeur-guide, your own timings and stays chosen for you. We never mix travellers into group departures.

Can I customise a luxury Morocco tour?

Always. Our itineraries are starting points. We change the length, the hotels, the pace and the experiences so that your luxury Morocco tour fits you exactly.

How much does a luxury tour of Morocco cost?

Our luxury tours of Morocco start from around €1,600 per person for three days and €6,900 per person for ten days, two sharing. The final price depends on the season, the hotels and the experiences you choose.

What does "from" mean in the price of a Morocco luxury tour?

It is an indicative price per person, for two people sharing, with the stays proposed in the itinerary. Your final quote for the Morocco luxury tour depends on your dates, hotels and choices.

How many days should a Morocco luxury tour last?

Seven to ten days is ideal to combine Marrakech, the Sahara and Fes. Three or four days are enough for Marrakech and the Agafay desert, and two weeks let you see the whole country at a gentle pace.

When is the best time for luxury tours in Morocco?

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the best seasons for luxury tours in Morocco, with comfortable days in the Sahara. Winter is lovely for Marrakech, and summer suits the Atlas Mountains and the coast.

How far ahead should we book a Morocco luxury tour?

Three to six months ahead is ideal, especially for spring, autumn and the holidays, because the best riads and desert camps have only a few rooms.

Where do you stay on Morocco luxury tours?

In palace riads and boutique hotels in the medinas, kasbah hotels in the south, luxury tented camps in the Sahara or Agafay, and mountain or oasis lodges. We only propose places we know well.

Does every Morocco luxury tour include the Sahara?

No. A night in a luxury desert camp is a highlight, but it is your choice. Shorter luxury tours often use the Agafay desert, only forty minutes from Marrakech, instead of the long drive to the dunes.

Which cities does a classic Morocco luxury tour visit?

A classic route includes Casablanca or Rabat, Fes, the Sahara at Merzouga, the Dades valley and the kasbahs, Ouarzazate and Marrakech. Chefchaouen, the Atlas Mountains and Essaouira are easy to add.

Can a luxury tour of Morocco start in Casablanca, Marrakech or Tangier?

Yes. We start and end your luxury tour of Morocco wherever suits your flights, most often Casablanca or Marrakech, and sometimes Tangier, Fes or Rabat.

Can a Morocco luxury tour include Chefchaouen and the north?

Yes. Chefchaouen, the blue city of the Rif, fits easily into a luxury tour of Morocco that includes Fes or starts in Tangier. One night there lets you enjoy its lanes when they are quietest.

Are international flights included in your Morocco luxury tours?

No. We take care of everything in Morocco, from your welcome at the airport to your departure. Your travel advisor can book your flights.

Is Morocco safe for a luxury tour?

Morocco is a welcoming country that receives millions of visitors each year. On our luxury tours you are accompanied by a private chauffeur-guide and local guides, and our team in Marrakech is reachable at all times.

Are Morocco luxury tours suitable for families with children?

Very much so. We plan family suites, shorter drives, camel rides and sandboarding in the Sahara, cooking classes and pool time, at your children’s pace.

Do you plan honeymoons as part of your luxury tours of Morocco?

Yes: honeymoons, anniversaries, proposals and birthdays, with private dinners in the desert, couple’s hammams and romantic riads on our luxury tours of Morocco.

Do I need a visa for a Morocco luxury tour?

Citizens of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union and Australia do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days. Rules can change, so always check with your consulate before travelling.

What should I pack for a Morocco luxury tour?

Light layers, a warm jacket for desert nights and mountain evenings, comfortable walking shoes for the medinas, sunglasses, a hat and an elegant outfit for dinners. We send a packing list before every luxury tour.

What is the dress code on a luxury tour in Morocco?

Relaxed and elegant. In medinas and villages, covering shoulders and knees is respectful; in hotels, pools and restaurants you can dress as you would in any luxury resort.

Can you arrange dietary needs on Morocco luxury tours?

Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies and religious requirements are passed on in writing to every riad, camp and restaurant before you arrive.

Are Morocco luxury tours possible with reduced mobility?

Often, yes. We adapt routes, vehicles and stays, and confirm access details with each hotel in advance. Tell us your needs and we will be honest about what is comfortable.

Which currency is used during a luxury Morocco tour?

The Moroccan dirham (MAD). Cards are accepted in most hotels and upscale restaurants; cash is useful in the souks and for tips. Your guide can show you reliable cash machines.

Should I tip on a Morocco luxury tour?

Tipping is customary in Morocco for guides, drivers, camp staff and restaurant service. We send a simple guideline with your travel documents so you never have to guess on your Morocco luxury tour.
