The Best Time to Visit Morocco
Morocco can be visited all year, but the season changes the experience, especially in the Sahara.
Season by season
- March to May: the best season, warm days and green valleys
- June to August: hot in Marrakech and the Sahara, perfect on the coast and in the Atlas
- September to November: golden light and pleasant temperatures everywhere
- December to February: sunny days, cold nights in the desert, snow on the Atlas
Our advice
For a first luxury journey with the Sahara, choose spring or autumn. For Marrakech and Agafay only, winter is lovely and quieter.
